Balmain will be hurting from last week?s home reverse against Schofields, and find themselves ?back in the mix? near the bottom of the ladder as a result.
The Tigers will be looking to exploit Hurstville?s endurance, given they will be backing up after a Wednesday night rescheduled match against Stanmore Hawks.
Hurstville have been on a run of improved results of late, and the lure of a top five spot should they win will be enough to motivate them towards another strong showing here.
All the remaining five matches are scheduled for a 3-00pm kick off on Sunday afternoon.
CSI Sport Ground will host the match between Schofield Scorpions and Fairfield Bulls, with the Bulls another side needing to back up following a midweek showing against Mt Druitt Town Rangers.
The Scorpions had so much riding on last week?s match against Balmain, and stayed in touch with the pack on the back of a brace of well taken goals by Tom Simpson.
The Bulls, on the other hand, really came unstuck at home against Fairfield City Lions, losing 1-5 after the scores were deadlocked at 1-1 at half time.
They?ll be keen to address this hiccup, and get back amongst the winner?s circle so they can make a stance in their bid to land a semi final spot come season?s end. 
A derby of sorts will take place at Magdala Park, with Gladesville Ryde Magic taking on Stanmore Hawks.
Stanmore overcame the Magic the first time they met, at Arlington Oval back in Round 3, and they are keen to experience that winning feeling again given it has deserted them of late.
Results at the base of the competition has seen three teams draw ever so close to the Hawks, and they will be secretly seeking six points in five days, including their catch up match versus Hurstville on Wednesday.
The Magic held onto 5^th spot despite last week?s loss to Mounties, and will be focused not to slip up again and potentially drop out of the five.
Fairfield City Lions will have revenge on their minds at Norford Park when they welcome competition front runners, Mounties Wanderers.
Even though there were no goals during the second half of their first round match at Cook Park, the Mounties absolutely tore the Lions apart in a blistering opening 45 minutes, taking a 5-1 lead into the break that could easily have been much more.
The result dented the pride of the Fairfield faithful, and on Sunday they get the opportunity to put the record straight in front of their home fans.
Last week?s 5-1 drubbing of Fairfield rivals, the Bulls, has them back in the right frame of mind, so look out for Yavuz Ekinci to lead the Lions to a positive result in this match up.
Mt Druitt Town Rangers have an opportunity to break into the top five when they meet third placed Camden Tigers at Popondetta Park.
Sitting in 7^th spot on 16 points, just three behind their opponents, the Rangers can actually catapult right past Camden if they can also somehow beat Fairfield Bulls on Wednesday night in a catch up game.
Camden will be smarting following last week?s 0-4 loss to Inter Lions, and know that nothing short of a win here is required if they are keep abreast of a number of teams breathing down their neck.
Camden came up trumps the first time these teams met with a closely fought 1-0 victory, so expect a similarly tight match this time around.
Two teams in good form in recent weeks come head to head at Wentworth Park on Sunday, with UNSW meeting Inter Lions in an intriguing match.
UNSW find themselves comfortably in second position on the ladder, and have worked hard in recent months to find consistency in their bid to make 2011 a season to remember.
Inter similarly have finally started to score some goals, and subsequently, pick up points, climbing to 9^th position last week following a 4-0 drubbing of Camden Tigers.
Last time these two teams met, the match finished in an exciting 2-2 draw, the ?students? coming from 0-2 down at the break to grab a draw with an injury time equalizer by Henry Kamleitner.
