Gemma Morgan awarded Lucas Neill Leadership Award
Football NSW Academy Junior Development Program player Gemma Morgan was recently awarded the ?Lucas Neill Leadership? award.
The eight-year-old Blue Mountains Football Club player was congratulated by both the Socceroos skipper as well as Matildas star Kyah Simon after her stunning displays on the field as well as the ability to encourage her team by leading from the front.
Gemma had the opportunity to kick a ball with both Neill and Simon as part of the Optus Small Sided Football Awards.
Gemma?s father Cameron was delighted with her daughter?s amazing achievement and told the Penrith Press.
