Former Marconi Stallions defender Adel Eljamal, ex-Parramatta Eagles keeper Anthony Costa and striker Kutaiba Elrich and former Macarthur Rams player Stephen Lloyd have all penned deals with the Lambert Park based club.

In what has been seen as a record for the club, five players have made the step up from Under 20s football to senior football with Brad Bartels, Stefan Giglio, Wandi Jajaw, Sam Salameh and Brendan Reilly all winning contracts.

Tigers President Tony Raciti was delighted with this achievement and was impressed with his young players ability to step it up a level.

?This proves that APIA is the club to be at, if you are looking to go to the next level.
?Importantly not only does the club believe in these players ability, more importantly they have exemplary characters and quality human beings as well as being humble.
?If they did not possess these ingredients they would not have been signed by the club.
?APIA has a strict no ego, airs and graces policy,? he commented in the APIA Leichhardt Tigers monthly newsletter.

Raciti was equally impressed with midfielder Stephen Kayes who remained loyal to the Tigers after reportedly being sort after by both Bonnyrigg White Eagles and Blacktown City FC.

?Stephen Kayes in the off season was strongly pursued by both Bonnyrigg White Eagles and Blacktown City.
?He has signed at APIA, again in 2012 for far less money.
?Amazingly, there is still some loyalty left in the game.?
