Football well represented in up-coming NSW Sports Federation Awards

Paralympic Football?s Jack Williams has been nominated in two categories; Young Athlete with a Disability and Team Athlete with a Disability while former Illawarra Stingrays? women?s Premier League coach Brett Wallin has been nominated for Coach of the Year.
Wallin especially had an outstanding 2011 season as he picked up the ?Male Coach of the Year? award at last year?s third annual football awards incorporating the PFA and Football Media Association of Australia.
2011 George Churchward Medal winner and Southern Branch?s Joan Robertson will be awarded on the evening once again for her outstanding services for football as she will be given a special Distinguished Long Service award. Robertson exemplified her long serving and ongoing commitment to the sport and was thus rewarded for her efforts via Football NSW is 2011.
