Blacktown Spartans recruit for 2012

The club has re-signed six players from last season?s Championship winning NSW Super League squad with the much talked about goalkeeper Carlos Saliadarre, Daniel Wells, Luke Boyd, Greg Kondek, Peter Hubbard and Thomas Spencer all penning deals with the club.
The Spartans have made a flurry of signings with former Blacktown City and Bankstown City players Chris Bedzo and Sean Mitchell joining the ranks as well as former Grade 20?s Player of the Year Steven Veleski, ex-Marconi Stallions midfielder Tim McGowan and promising prospect Djordje Degenek joining de Haan?s player roster.
Former Hills United high flyer Lord Darkoh will also be a new face in the squad as well as the former APIA Leichhardt Tigers pairing of Tomislav Herceg and Nathan Millgate.
The Spartans will be playing out of their $6.8 million dollar state of the art precinct Blacktown Football Park, designed strictly for football which will feature one boutique artificial surface pitch with a grandstand holding approximately 1000 people as well as undercover seating of 278 will also have the newly furnished offices of Blacktown District Soccer Football Association present on site.
In another major coup for the club the Spartans will have Bing Lee as their major sponsor for 2012.
