Acronis backs up again to support Manly United FC

The agreement will see the Acronis logo displayed on the shirt fronts of the senior men?s squad for the 2012 and 2013 NSW Premier League campaigns, and for the first time, the first grade women?s team. As winners of the 2011 Waratah Cup, Manly United is now providing even greater visibility and value for Acronis.
Karl Sice, General Manager – Pacific at Acronis, said: ?This is the second year of a mutually successful relationship between Acronis and Manly United, and we?re delighted to now sponsor the women?s team as well.
?As thousands of players and families across Sydney are now so committed to soccer, we see this renewed and extended sponsorship as a truly effective vehicle for raising awareness of the data protection issue. It?s something which needs to be brought front of mind as people now keep so much of their lives on their computers and phones.?
As part of the sponsorship package, Acronis will also support a number of promotional activities with the club including: a VIP corporate box for Acronis customers and partners to watch the Manly United FC versus Sydney United match on Sunday 5 August; a
competition for subscribers to the Manly United newsletter to win copies of Acronis True Image PC backup and system recovery tool; a Partner and Kids Day with Manly Head Coach Craig Midgley; and Acronis-logoed water bottles and balls for some of its coaching programs.
Jeremy Toivonen, General Manager, Manly United Football Club, is equally excited at the sponsorship: “Such valuable support from a global IT company of the calibre of Acronis is a great boost to the club and our senior men?s squad. Karl’s passion for Acronis and football on the northern beaches is a major asset to our broader sporting and business community.”
