Waratah Cup Round 3 Draw announced (9th May Updated Results)

Thirty-two teams are left facing the arduous task of being crowned the next Waratah Cup champions as sixteen matches will take centre stage for round three of the Waratah Cup.
There will be three entertaining all NSW Premier League battles that look the goods as 2011 Waratah Cup Champions Manly United travel to take on the Sutherland Sharks, Sydney Olympic have been drawn to face the Marconi Stallions while Sydney United 58 have been paired to take on Blacktown City FC.
There will also be an all Illawarra Premier League affair as Dapto Dandaloo face Tarrawanna in what should be an explosive match between the two South Coast based clubs. Dapto Dandaloo coached by Norm Boardman and Tarrawanna coached by Luke McGuire will be eagerly anticipating this clash. Dapto Dandaloo defeated Tarrawanna 5-1 in their opening Illawarra Premier League fixture and are currently undefeated so they?ll be going into this as firm favourites but anything can happen in Cup football.
One association side remains in the hunt for the cup and that honour has gone to Gladesville Hornsby Association?s Hills Pumas who face a tough task taking on NSW Super League side Bankstown City Lions.
NSW Premier League side Parramatta FC have been drawn to take on NSW Super League side Dulwich Hill which should be an interesting clash as will the Rockdale City Suns led by new coach Mark Rudan who face Prospect United.
State League One side Mt Druitt Town Rangers will face Super League side Spirit FC while Fraser Park entertain Fairfield City Lions.
In other matches, ACT Premier League side Canberra FC take on State League One side Southern Bulls, NSW Super League side have been drawn against fellow Super League outfit Hills Brumbies, NSW Premier League side Blacktown Spartans will take on State League One side UNSW, NSW Super League side Northern Tigers make the trek to take on NSW Premier League side South Coast Wolves, NSW Premier League high flyers Bonnyrigg White Eagles face State League One side Balmain FC while Illawarra Premier League outfit Picton Rangers travel to Sydney to take on NSW Super League side Bankstown Berries.
NSW Premier League side APIA Leichhardt Tigers will take on either Nepean FC or West City FC, the pair will be taking on each other in a rescheduled round 2 Cup match on Tuesday May 8th at Valentine Sports Park after their game was postponed due to the wet weather conditions that hit Sydney.
