Frank Broughton and Centenary Cup hits fever pitch at VSP

The tournaments are conducted by Football NSW Community Football. The Frank Broughton Cup is for the Grade 11 age group, and the Centenary Cup is for the Grade 12 age group. Teams are from the Skill Aquisition League, Country Association Representative teams, and FNSW approved SAP teams
32 teams and over 500 players took part in what was a wonderful weekend of football at Football NSW headquarters.
Congratulations must be extended to the associations of Manly-Warringah, Gladesville Hornsby and Eastern Suburbs, who have had both their U/11s and U/12s squad progress to the finals this coming weekend.
The three Football NSW SAP sides all progressed to the quarter finals as well.
The standard of football was excellent as some of the most prominent young talents in the game showcased their skill and talent over two exciting days, over which 90 matches were played.
The knock out stage of the tournament takes place this Saturday, September 22 also at Valentine Sports Park.
The U/11s side will be striving to make the Frank Broughton Cup Final, which kicks off at 2pm, whilst the U/12s will be trying to win a place in the Centenary Cup Final, which kicks off at 3pm.
