The Teenage Revolution: IGA NSW NPL Mens 2

 

Wonderful weather and fabulous football combined to provide a very entertaining weekend of play that produced the usual round of “shock” results and that continues to provide evidence that this could well be the most competitive season ever in this division.
 

Super IGA NSW National Premier League Men’s 2 – Overview

Sydney University must have been very pleased with their haul of sixteen points when they visited Bankstown City Lions while Northern Tigers would have been delighted with the fifteen points they earned from their home clash with Hills Brumbies.

Spirit FC did well to collect thirteen points from their visit to Macarthur Rams and Mt Druitt Town Rangers pinched twelve points from their trip to St George.

Bankstown Berries pocketed eleven points when they hosted Fraser Park while Mounties Wanderers and Parramatta FC shared the spoils, each taking eight points from their encounter. 

 

Super IGA NSW National Premier League Men’s 2 – Grade 12

Sydney University are the competition frontrunners after they stretched their perfect start to the season to four win with a strong 5-0 victory over eleventh placed Bankstown City Lions.

Hills Brumbies are in second spot on goal difference after they also took their perfect record to four win from as many matches with a 3-0 scoreline when they faced fourth placed Northern Tigers.

Mt Druitt Town Rangers are in third position thanks to their solid 5-0 success over ninth placed St George while Spirit FC are placed fifth following their 3-1 success over seventh placed Macarthur Rams.

Sixth placed Fraser Park edged out tenth placed Bankstown Berries by the odd goal in five in an absolute thriller while Mounties Wanderers are in eighth position after they accounted for twelfth placed Parramatta FC with a 1-0 scoreline.

Sydney University have a lead of one point at the top of the table thanks to their solid 4-0 success over twelfth placed Bankstown City Lions while Bankstown Berries are in second spot following their 2-0 victory over eleventh placed Fraser Park.

Parramatta FC are placed third on goal difference after they were 3-0 winners over seventh placed Mounties Wanderers and Macarthur Rams are in fourth position following their 2-1 win over tenth placed Spirit FC.

Fifth placed Mt Druitt Town Rangers suffered a 3-2 loss when they faced sixth placed St George and eighth placed Northern Tigers claimed the points with a 1-0 result when they met ninth placed Hills Brumbies.

Mt Druitt Town Rangers have goal difference lead at the top of the table after they maintained their perfect record with a 5-3 victory over tenth placed St George and Spirit FC are sitting in second spot following their fourth win from as many matches, this one a 3-0 result over twelfth placed Macarthur Rams.

Mounties Wanderers are placed third on this week’s table after they battled out a 1-1 draw with eleventh placed Parramatta FC who were earning their first points for this campaign.

Northern Tigers are in fourth position thanks to their 2-1 success over ninth placed Hills Brumbies while Fraser Park are fifth after they fought it out with eighth placed Bankstown Berries for a scoreless draw and Sydney University are in sixth spot following their 1-1 draw with seventh placed Bankstown City Lions.

Mt Druitt Town Rangers are at the top of the table on goal difference after they shaded seventh placed St George by the odd goal in five to hold onto their perfect record while Sydney University also posted their fourth win from as many matches with a 4-0 result over eleventh placed Bankstown City Lions.

Spirit FC are in third position after they recorded a strong 4-0 win over twelfth placed Macarthur Rams while Fraser Park are fourth after they suffered a 4-3 loss to fifth placed Bankstown Berries.

Northern Tigers are sixth on goal difference thanks to their 2-0 victory over ninth placed Hills Brumbies and Mounties Wanderers are place eighth following their 4-2 result when they faced tenth placed Parramatta FC.

 

Super IGA NSW National Premier League Men’s 2 – Grade 16

Unbeaten Parramatta FC are the competition frontrunners on goal difference following their 1-1 draw with eighth placed Mounties Wanderers while Bankstown Berries also maintained their unbeaten run and they are in second spot after they claimed a 2-0 victory over twelfth placed Fraser Park.

Sydney University took their unbeaten sequence to four matches and they are in third position thanks to their win by the odd goal in five over eleventh placed Bankstown City Lions while fourth placed Northern Tigers and Hills Brumbies produced a goal-fest with the Tigers claiming the points with a 7-3 result.

Fifth placed Macarthur Rams battled out a 1-1 draw with seventh placed Spirit FC and tenth placed St George grabbed the points for their first win with a 3-2 victory over sixth placed Mt Druitt Town Rangers.

 

Super IGA NSW National Premier League Men’s 2 – Grade 18

Mt Druitt Town Rangers remained unbeaten and they are leading the way on the competition table following their 4-1 success over ninth placed St George while Mounties Wanderers are in second spot after they tasted defeat for the first time with a 2-1 loss to sixth placed Parramatta FC.

Third placed Sydney University posted a 2-1 victory when they faced twelfth placed Bankstown City Lions and Bankstown Berries are in fourth position after they fought it out for a 1-1 draw with eighth placed Fraser Park.

Hills Brumbies are placed fifth on goal difference after they suffered a 3-0 loss to seventh placed Northern Tigers and Macarthur Rams are tenth following their 1-0 loss to eleventh placed Spirit FC who were posting their first three-pointer for the season.
