There was a bit more disruption to the competition this week when the rain forced the postponement of three fixtures but there was plenty of action and a number of upsets from the games that went ahead.
IGA National Premier League NSW Men’s 1 – Overview
Sutherland Sharks collected thirteen points from their six matches against Central Coast Mariners in their first round meeting and the Sharks added eleven points to their tally this week.
Blacktown City earned eleven points from their first round encounter with APIA Leichhardt Tigers but this time the Tigers collected nine points from the clash, leaving Blacktown with six points to show for their efforts.
Blacktown Spartans took twelve of the points last time they faced Rockdale City Suns but the matches were washed this weekend.
Sydney Olympic secured thirteen points from the first round clash with Sydney United 58 but this week’s matches were victims of the weather.
South Coast Wolves pocketed ten points and Marconi Stallions took seven points when they met in the first round and the Wolves repeated the dose as they once again secured ten points from the encounter.
Manly United added thirteen points to their tally when they met Bonnyrigg White Eagles last time around and the northern beaches outfit took eleven points from the fixture this week.
APIA Leichhardt Tigers bagged twelve points from the five first round matches they played against the Football NSW Institute in the first round but the matches scheduled for this week were washed out.
IGA National Premier League NSW Men’s 1 – Club Championship
Sutherland Sharks came into this round as the leaders on this table by a margin of fifteen points and they had claimed all twelve points from their first round meeting with eleventh placed Central Coast Mariners. The Sharks extended their lead to eighteen points when they took eight points from this weekend’s matches.
Second placed Blacktown City earned seven points and sixth placed APIA Leichhardt Tigers took four points last time the clubs saw each other and on this occasion the clubs shared the spoils, taking five points each from the day. That has left Blacktown in second spot and the Tigers have climbed to fifth.
Before a ball was kicked on the weekend Blacktown Spartans were in third position and they had grabbed nine points from their first round encounter with twelfth placed Rockdale City Suns. The Spartans and the Suns remained where they were on the table after their matches were washed out.
Sydney United 58 arrived at this round in fourth place but they were able to take only four of the first round points from eighth placed Sydney Olympic who gained seven points from that day. United have tumbled back to seventh and Olympic are still eighth after they were victims of the weather.
Bonnyrigg White Eagles were in fifth place when the day began and their first round clash with Manly United had yielded only three points while the northern beaches club had made off with nine points. Bonnyrigg dropped back to sixth after they could take only four points from Manly who used their seven points to climb to fourth position.
 
When the first whistle sounded on the day Marconi Stallions were in ninth place and South Coast Wolves were tenth. The Stallions had taken seven points from their last meeting, leaving the Wolves with only four points.  The tables were turned this time as the Wolves claimed seven points and the Stallions had only four points at the end of the day. Both clubs remained where they were on the table.

Manly United were the competition frontrunners by a margin of three points when this game kicked off and they had produced a 3-0 result when they met eighth placed Bonnyrigg White Eagles in the first round. Manly are still in the top spot after they battled out a scoreless draw with Bonnyrigg this week.
When this week’s game began Blacktown City were in second place and they were 1-0 winners when they faced sixth placed APIA Leichhardt Tigers last time around. Blacktown held onto second spot following their 1-1 draw this time, an outcome that has allowed the Tigers to rise to fifth position.
Blacktown Spartans arrived at this match in third position and they had defeated tenth placed Rockdale City Suns 3-0 when the teams faced each other in the first round. The Spartans and the Suns remained where they were on the table after their match was washed out.
Placed fourth when the first whistle sounded, South Coast Wolves had registered a 9-1 first round success over ninth placed Marconi Stallions. The Wolves took the points once again when they were 3-1 winners thanks to strikes from E. English, A. Masciovecchio and J. Mortimer while D. Bonilla found the net for the Stallions. Both teams retained their places on the table.
Coming into this round in fifth position, Sydney United 58 had claimed the first round points when they were 3-0 winners over eleventh placed Sydney Olympic.  United dropped back to sixth and Olympic are still eleventh after they suffered a wash-out on Saturday.
Sutherland Sharks started the day in seventh place and they had recorded a 3-0 victory when they saw twelfth placed Central Coast Mariners in the first round. Sutherland completed the double this week with a 4-0 victory to remain at seventh and lave the Mariners at twelfth.

Sutherland Sharks had established a lead of five points at the top of the table before this game started and they had produced a 6-0 result when they faced tenth placed Central Coast Mariners in the first round. The Sharks are still the frontrunners after they took the points with a 1-0 result and that has left the Mariners at tenth.
Blacktown City came into this game unbeaten and in second place and they had battled out a 1-1 first round draw with ninth placed APIA Leichhardt Tigers. Blacktown suffered their first loss when the Tigers came up with a 2-1 result. That has forced Blacktown back to third and allowed the Tigers to climb to eighth place. Scoring the goals for the Tigers were N. Lai and A. Toksoz while M. Osei-Adomako provided the goal for Blacktown.
The Tigers were also due to meet the twelfth placed Football NSW Institute who had gone down 2-1 to the Tigers in their first round match. However, this week’s match was washed out.
Placed third before a ball was kicked, Manly United had shaded eleventh placed Bonnyrigg White Eagles with a 2-1 win when they met last time around. manly moved up to second with a 1-0 victory and that has left Bonnyrigg at eleventh.
 
South Coast Wolves were in fourth position when the first whistle sounded and they had fought out a 2-2 draw with seventh placed Marconi Stallions in their first round encounter. The Wolves are still fourth following their 4-1 success over the Stallions who have retained seventh place. The goals for the Wolves came from J. Gjorsevski (2), T. Nunn and D. Sokopf and the Stallions’ scorer was C. Cuelho.
Blacktown Spartans began the day in fifth position and they had registered a 5-0 win last time they faced thirteenth placed Rockdale City Suns. Both teams remained where they were on the table after their match was washed out.
Sydney Olympic arrived at this match in sixth place while Sydney United 58 were just two points further back at eighth. The first round clash had ended in a 1-1 draw. Olympic managed to hold onto sixth place but United have slipped back to ninth after this match was another victim of the rain.

Sutherland Sharks were six points clear at the top of the table before a ball was kicked and they were up against sixth placed Central Coast Mariners who had suffered a 2-1 first round loss to the Sharks. Sutherland have extended their leading margin to seven points after they battled out a 1-1 draw this week and that has left the Mariners at sixth.
Placed second at kick-off time, Sydney Olympic had claimed the points with a 1-0 win when they met seventh placed Sydney United 58 in the first round. Olympic slipped back to third and United stayed at seventh when their match was washed out.
Bonnyrigg White Eagles began the day in third place and they had suffered a 2-1 first round loss to eighth placed Manly United.  Bonnyrigg turned the tables this time when they came up with a 1-0 win and that has elevated them to second spot while Manly have dropped back to ninth.
Blacktown Spartans arrived at this match in fourth position and they had gone down 1-0 last time they saw ninth placed Rockdale City Suns. When this match was washed out, the Spartans held onto fourth place but the Suns dropped back to tenth.

Blacktown rose to eighth after they battled out a 1-1 draw but the Tigers are still in eleventh position. The goal which gave the Tigers the lead was scored by G. Tilio.
The Tigers were also due to face the fourth placed Football NSW Institute who were 4-0 winners last time around. However, this match was washed out.
Marconi Stallions and South Coast Wolves came into this round in twelfth and thirteenth places respectively with eight points separating the teams. The Stallions were 2-1 winners last time the teams saw each other. When this week’s match ended in a 1-1 draw both teams remained where they were on the ladder. The Wolves’ goal came from J. Mojanovski and S. Prso found the net for the Stallions.
IGA National Premier League NSW Men’s 1 – Grade 15
Bonnyrigg White Eagles were the competition frontrunners when the day began and they had won a first round thriller over twelfth placed Manly United by a 5-4 scoreline. Despite suffering a 3-2 “shock” loss this week, Bonnyrigg have retained their place at the top of the table while Manly have moved up to eleventh position.
 
Marconi Stallions arrived at this game in second place and they were 4-1 winners last time they faced eleventh placed South Coast Wolves. When the Stallions posted a 2-1 victory they remained in second place and narrowed the gap between themselves and the leaders to goal difference. This result has forced the Wolves back to twelfth place. The goals for Marconi were scored by F. Sanjar Khani and G. Panayi while the Wolves’ scorer was A. Pappas.
Placed third at kick-off time Sutherland Sharks had come up with a 3-2 result from their first round clash with tenth placed Central Coast Mariners. The Sharks fell back to fourth when they were held to a scoreless draw by the Mariners who are now in ninth position.
Blacktown City started this match in fourth place and they had suffered a 2-1 first round loss to fifth placed APIA Leichhardt Tigers. Blacktown’s 3-2 win this week allowed them to move up to third while the Tigers have managed to hold onto fifth place.
The Tigers were also due to meet the eighth placed Football NSW Institute who the Tigers had beaten 6-1 in the first round. However, this match was washed out.
Sydney United 58 came into this round in sixth position and they had gone down 3-0 when they met ninth placed Sydney Olympic in the first round. The teams remained exactly where they were on the table after this match was washed out.

IGA National Premier League NSW Men’s 1 – Grade 16
In Round 12 catch-up action Blacktown Spartans were 2-0 winners over Marconi Stallions. The goals came from D. Machara and A. Lipovac.
APIA Leichhardt Tigers arrived at this round as the competition leaders by a single point and they had lost their first round contest with third placed Blacktown City by a 3-2 scoreline. The Tigers stretched their lead to four points thanks to their 4-0 win over Blacktown who are still in third place. The Tigers’ scorers were L. Scott (2), G. Blackwood and A. Piliotis.
The Tigers were also due to meet the fourth placed Football NSW Institute. The first round points had gone to the Tigers when they won 4-2. However, this week’s match was washed out.

Central Coast Mariners came into this round in sixth position and they were 3-0 winners over tenth placed Sutherland Sharks when they met last time around. the tables were turned this week when the Sharks produced a 2-0 success and they have climbed to seventh while the Mariners have tumbled back to ninth. The scorers in this match were Z. Mudarris and M. Nicolaou.
Manly United and Bonnyrigg White Eagles had battled out a 2-2 first round draw. They came into this round in ninth and twelfth positions respectively. However, Manly claimed all the points this week when they won 2-0 and that has moved them up to sixth while Bonnyrigg are still twelfth.
 
South Coast Wolves started the day in eleventh position and Marconi Stallions were thirteenth. The Wolves had taken the first round points with a 1-0 result. This week the Wolves completed the double with a 3-0 scoreline thanks to goals from G. Rodriguez, R. Lappin and M. Mazevski. That has pushed them up to seventh and left Marconi at thirteenth.

Blacktown Spartans had a lead of three points at the top of the table when the weekend began and they had produced a 6-0 victory in their first round clash with twelfth placed Rockdale City Suns.
In catch-up action from Round 12 Blacktown Spartans accounted for Marconi Stallions with a 2-1 scoreline. That has helped the Spartans to extend their lead to five points.
Sydney Olympic came into this round in second position and they had produced a 4-1 result last time they saw fifth placed Sydney United 58. However, when their match was washed out, both teams slipped back one place on the table.
Marconi Stallions started the weekend in third position and they had lost their first round match against tenth placed South Coast Wolves by a 2-1 scoreline. The Stallions climbed to second when they produced a 2-0 win and that has left the Wolves at tenth. The goals were scored by A. Guzman and S. Azzam.
Blacktown City arrived at this round in fourth position and they had battled out a 3-3 first round draw with sixth placed APIA Leichhardt Tigers. Blacktown remained at fourth after they battled out a 1-1 draw with the Tigers who are now in fifth place.
The Tigers were also due to play against the eighth placed Football NSW Institute who the Tigers had beaten 2-1 in the first round. However, this match was washed out.
Manly United were placed seventh at the scheduled kick-off time and were 4-0 winners last time they faced thirteenth placed Bonnyrigg White Eagles. The teams shared the spoils this time when their match finished in a 1-1 draw. They have both remained where they were on the table. Manly’s goal came from S. Wilson.
Ninth placed Central Coast Mariners and eleventh placed Sutherland Sharks had fought out a 1-1 draw when they met in the first round. When they won 2-1 the Mariners climbed to eighth place while the Sharks are still in eleventh place.
