Regional B-Licence coaching course grips Valentine Sports Park

A group of 28 coaches returned to Valentine Sports Park this week to complete the second installment of a Regional B-Licence coaching course.
Run by Football Federation of Australia’s Advanced Coaching Manager Rob Sherman and assisted by Football NSW State Technical Director Alex Tobin and Football NSW Coach Education Manager Oscar Gonzalez, The intense week of practical and theoretical coach training follows on from the group’s first week at VSP in April.
It was the first time ever that Football NSW headquarters played host to a Regional B-Licence coaching course with more set to hopefully take place with the current redevelopment plan raring to go at Valentine Sports Park shortly.
Amongst the 28 candidates, names such as former Socceroos skipper Paul Wade, current Hyundai A-League and Newcastle Jets star Michael Bridges, Former National Soccer League players Tony Sekulic and Michael Grbevski, Blacktown Spartans head first team coach Ben De Haan, Nepean Districts Football Association’s James Rankine and three current IGA NSW National Premier Leagues Mens 1 Former NPL Mens 1 player Sash Trajcevski, Technical Directors Bonnyrigg White Eagles’ Jeff Suzor and Mt Druitt Town Rangers’ Stewart Montgomery were just some of the names that participated in the course.
