Football NSW has recently completed both Country and Metropolitan Boys trials for State Team representation in 2013.
The FNSW Country Boys participated in a number of camps and development days in regional areas as part of their selection process. The FNSW Metropolitan Boys participated in a number of selection trials at Valentine Sports Park in August.
The Technical Department of Football NSW is pleased to advise that the following players have been selected as a member of a Football NSW State Team. These teams will compete at the FFA National Championships for Boys in Coffs Harbour from 30th September to 4th October 2013.=

FNSW Technical Director Alex Tobin has been suitably impressed by the high degree of technical ability shown by players throughout the year.

“The players are to be congratulated on this achievement,” Tobin said.

“The Talent Identification through NPL and State Titles made it clear that coaching priorities are changing.

“We are seeing a consistent improvement in the standard of play and quality of players throughout New South Wales.

“Those who made it through to the final selection should be very proud of their efforts so far and should view the Nationals as an opportunity to further develop as a player.

“FNSW has a long and proud history at these Championships and we are sure that these boys will continue that tradition.

“I wish them the best of luck for the tournament.”
