NWS Koalas welcome 2014 Senior Coaching Staff
Following an exhaustive process the North West Sydney Koalas have confirmed the appointment of our senior coaching staff for the 2014 season.
It was critical that the new coaches shared the clubs playing ethos and beliefs.
2014 will see Danny Abboud take on the role of head coach. Danny will work closely with Michael Mantikos who will be responsible for our reserve grade squad.
Danny joins the Koalas with a wealth of experience coaching at both grass roots and elite levels. Danny currently holds an AFC / FFA A license. With a coaching career spanning over twenty years Danny brings to the Koalas a passion for developing the women’s game and a desire to advance the football knowledge of our players.
After three years coaching at Sydney University in both youth league and senior coaching roles Michael Mantikos will bring his own skill set to the Koalas with a focus on developing players individually and working to ensure a great team culture.
Michael currently holds an FFA B licence.
We are confident that both Danny and Michael will be warmly welcomed into the Koalas community and will work to further our vision to be the number one facilitator of coach and female player football development in the country.
