Western NSW delighted with Futsal Gala Day
Futsal converged on Bathurst Indoor Sports Stadium as Western NSW Football held the 2013 Futsal Gala Day for association teams and players across Western Branch on Sunday 17th of November.
Teams representing Bathurst, Dubbo, Lachlan (Lions and United) Lithgow, Mudgee and Orange plus a team from Southern NSW all participated in the Futsal Gala Day.
Teams competed in Under 11s, 12s and 13s Boys as well as Under 10s, 12s, 14s Girls.
Football NSW’s Andrew Fearnley said the day was ‘a great success’ with a large number of teams participating and there was ‘plenty of smiles’ as the teams played numerous games in a non-competition format over the day.
A further gala day will be held on Sunday December 15th as Futsal looks to develop and grow within the regional area.
