Fairfield City Lions join forces with Rydalmere FC

Fairfield City Lions has officially joined forces with Rydalmere Football Club, now playing under the Rydalmere Lions FC banner. 

As of January 2014, Rydalmere Lions FC will now represent Under 20’s and First Grade teams, former Fairfield City Lions teams.

Since early 2013 Fairfield City Lions has been operating out of the Rydalmere FC headquarters making the official collaboration imminent.

“We are very excited to welcome two strong and competent teams into our Rydalmere family,” says Rydalmere FC Club President, Peter Bacha.

“We are focused on providing the Under 20’s and First Grade players the professional support and commitment that they deserve to succeed.”

By merging with the Fairfield City Lions, Rydalmere FC now has the opportunity to provide a pathway for junior members to aspire to State League competition.

Furthermore, unifying the clubs has helped catalyse Rydalmere FC’s growth strategy which is to be a serious competitor in the NSW State League Competitions.
