Football fever swept Dural’s Pacific Hills Christian School on Friday 8th of August as 90 lucky students participated in a 7 News Football Clinic conducted by Football NSW.

Football NSW’s Renee Rollason took charge of the clinic alongside qualified coaches David Plowright and Anthony Herrera as well as current Sydney FC and Australian international Chloe Logarzo who put the students through a series of drills and games throughout the day.

Rollason, a former Matildas star, was delighted with the success of the 7 news Football Clinic as the world game swept through the school.

“These 7 news Football Clinics are a great way to introduce a new generation of kids to the game that I love.

“It’s also great to see so many of these kids getting involved, being active and having fun.

“Seeing the many smiles on the kids’ faces was certainly a great moment for all involved as they really enjoyed themselves in what was a great day for the game.”

The school clinics are part of 7 News ongoing commitment to community football which will also include additional activity at this weekend’s SAP Gala Day at Blacktown Football Park.

Clinics are being conducted throughout Sydney thanks to 7 News with plenty of opportunities still available.
