Champion of Champions Finals this Sunday

Football NSW’s premier Grassroots football tournament, the prestigious Champion of Champions Finals have been set this Sunday as two venues will play host to the big event with Blacktown Football Park and Cook Park, St Marys the scene for 18 massive matches.

It will herald the end of yet another fantastic season of Association football as both Blacktown Football Park and Cook Park comes alive with football action all day with matches commencing at 9am with the final matches kicking off at 4:30pm in what promises to be a wonderful day for the round ball game.

In a great achievement, Manly Warringah Football Association alongside Gladesville Hornsby Association will have the most teams competing as five clubs have made the finals while Sutherland Shire Football Association will feature with four teams.

Club Representatives from Eastern Suburbs (3), Northern Suburbs (2), Blacktown (2), Canterbury (2), Granville (2), St George (2), Southern Districts (2), Bankstown (1), Central Coast (1), Football South Coast (1), Macarthur (1), Nepean (1) as well as Country Associations Griffith (1) and South West Slopes (1) will also feature in this prestigious tournament.

There will also be two clubs that will feature more than one of their teams on the day with St George’s Connells Point (12 Boys and 17 Boys) as well as Manly’s Wakehurst (18 Women and Over 35s) will be hoping for some silverware this Sunday.

Available on the day will also be the ability to order one of the eighteen official Champion of Champions matches as all games will be filmed so keep a look out for the stage to grab a copy.
