Thirty-five coaches took part in Northern Suburbs Football Association’s first ever C-Licence coaching course led by Football NSW’s Coach Education Manager and instructor Oscar Gonzalez at the Charles Bean Sportsground.
Northern Suburbs FA coaching staff also took part with Technical Director Jason Eager praising the coaching event.
“As the Technical Director for the Association we are delighted to host the course at our new venue and I am looking forward to working with Oscar as I work towards being an Advanced Instructor myself.”
Gonzalez himself was also delighted with the progress and key learnings all coaches took in with assisting their further development as coaches.
“I was really impressed with the way they took to the course.
“Each candidate was very proactive each pushing each other in a positive fashion grasping as much knowledge and tips as possible which was great to have seen.”
The course is expected to take shape for two weeks before the Christmas break and will commence again in mid-January right through to mid-Februrary.
