Round Three of the PS4 NPL NSW Men’s 2 Preseason Cup will get underway on Friday night with some interesting encounters over the weekend.
POOL 1 –
Mounties Wanderers VS Bankstown Berries @ Cook Park
Mounties Wanderers welcome the on fire Bankstown Berries to Cook Park on Sunday night at 7:30pm.
It’s a battle for top spot between the two as the Wanderers sit in second place behind the leading Berries. Victory will assure the home side of moving into first place.
Bankstown City VS St George @ Jensen Park
Bankstown City host St George on Sunday night at Jensen Park with kick off set for 7:30pm.
Bankstown will be gunning for their first win of the Cup while St George will look to get back on track following their humbling defeat at the hands of the Berries last week.
Mt Druitt Town Rangers VS Macarthur Rams @Popondetta
At Popondetta Park on Sunday night at 7:30pm, the Mt Druitt Town Rangers will host the Macarthur Rams.
The Rangers will look to build on their comfortable win last week against Bankstown, while the Rams are still searching for their first win of the year, having picked up one point from their first two games.
POOL 2 –
Northern Tigers VS Hakoah Sydney City East @ Charlie Bean Sportsground
On Friday night at Charlie Bean Sportsground, the Northern Tigers take on Hakoah Sydney City East.
The Tigers share top spot with three other teams and will be looking to edge ahead of their rivals with victory over Hakoah.
The newly promoted boys are still searching for their first win and would love to get their campaign rolling with a win.
Central Coast VS Spirit FC @Budgewoi Soccer Ground
At Budgewoi Soccer Ground on Sunday night, Spirit will make the trip North to take on Central Coast.
These two share top spot in Pool 2 along with the Northern Tigers and a win here for either could see them move out in front ahead of the chasing pack.
Fraser Park VS Sydney University @ Arlington Oval
At Arlington Oval on Sunday night, Fraser Park will host Sydney University in the final game of round 3.
Neither side have managed to register a victory yet with Fraser Park drawing both previous matches, while Uni had to settle for a draw and a loss.
