With an anticipated 50 synthetic football fields being planned, procured or installed over the next 12 months, Australia’s leading independent synthetic surfaces consultancy is promoting a very interactive seminar at Lane Cove’s Blackman Park on Thursday 25th June.

Martin Sheppard, Managing Director of Smart Connection Consultancy decided to promote this very interactive seminar series to give decision makers proven solutions that they can take away from each seminar.

“There is much information around regarding the benefits of using synthetic sports surface technology, so we wanted to focus on the questions that we keep being asked including:

• What are the solutions to the key challenges that the community keep asking us, such as environmental impact, safety, and usability?

• How can we afford them?

• Isn’t there a turf to fit all sports?

• What are other sports, Councils and schools doing?

• How do you really maintain them?”

So the synthetic consultancy firm have brought the right people together, with each seminar having support from Parks and Leisure Australia in the States and the backing of the State Football Federations, World Rugby and some special guest speakers.

Each participant will receive a copy of the Smart Guide to Synthetic Sport Surfaces and the Smart Guide to Maintaining Synthetic Sports Turf (Long Pile).

One such speaker on the day will be Football NSW’s Head of Facilities Development & Government Relations Ricardo Piccioni.

A panel of local Council officers and sports administrators will be present in a Round Table session to answer all of the questions as well as maintenance demonstrations, site visits to see the latest installations in each City A downloadable brochure and more information is available from Smart Connection Consultancy and you can register on the official website at www.smartconnection.net.au/events
