IGA Club of the Month – Douglas Park Wilton Razorbacks FC

Football NSW and IGA are pleased to announce that the latest IGA Club of the Month winner for August is the Douglas Park Wilton Razorbacks FC from the Macarthur Football Association.

The club, founded in 1999, have 150 players this year and have heavily relied on the hard work and dedication of its dedicated volunteers who have continued to give their all during the football season.

“We are a small club of 151 members, with 12 junior teams and two men’s senior teams, playing in the Macarthur Football Association,” said Douglas Park Wilton spokesman Simon Cooke.

“The club is honoured to have been chosen as the winner of the IGA Club of the Month, and we wish to thank IGA for their generous prize.

“Our committee has strived to shop locally and support our local community, as they have supported us.

“We will be using the money to stock our canteen for the start of the season.

“Our canteen is a major source of fundraising for the club, and this prize will kick starts our fundraising immensely.

“Thank you IGA for being a supporter of your local clubs and community.”

Football NSW and IGA are pleased to award the Douglas Park Wilton Razorbacks with $500 in IGA gift cards which will be put to good use according to Mr Cooke.
