Western NSW Catholic Diocese Gala Day
The official Western NSW Catholic Diocese Gala Day took place at Proctor Park on Friday March 18th coinciding with the Proctor Park Challenge for Girls in Bathurst.
Over 70 boys and 50 girls were involved in games throughout the day before teams were chosen to represent the Diocese at the Polding Trials in April which will also be held at Proctor Park.
FNSW’s Coach and Development Manager for Western NSW Andrew Fearnley was impressed with the talent and display that was put on by the various teams with a couple of memorable performances by individual players.
“It was great to see so many up and coming talented players take part in what was a successful tournament.
“Despite the rainy and wet weather conditions, players were able to enjoy their football along with putting in solid performances for their respective teams.”
