Sydney University lead the PlayStation 4 NPL NSW Women’s competition but their rivals are hot on their tails as we move into round 5 action.

Emerging Jets vs Manly United

Manly United travels to lake Macquarie Regional Football Facility on Sunday afternoon as they take on the Emerging jets.

Neither side has registered a point yet this season and will look to get off the mark and kick start their season.

Both sides came close last week and only lost by the odd goal, something they can take heart from and build on.

NWS Koalas vs Marconi Stallions

At ELS Hall Park, the NWS Koalas will host the Marconi Stallions.

The Koalas have had a fantastic start to the season under the watchful eye of Stephen Peters and sit one point off first place in third.

The Stallions were the first team to take points off the Champions Sydney Uni last week and will possibly feel hard done by to not get anything more from the game.

Illawarra Stingrays vs Football NSW Institute

The Football NSW Institute will travel south on Sunday to JJ Kelly Park for their match against the Illawarra Stingrays.

The Stingrays have found the back of the net with ease this season, averaging almost 4 goals a game.

For the Institute, last weeks win was coming after some close previous results and they’ll look to take a massive leap forward with three points on Sunday.

Macarthur Rams vs North Shore Mariners

It will be a massive fixture at Lynwood Park as the Macarthur Rams host the North Shore Mariners.

The Rams have won three straight after their opening day loss and are looking the goods as the season moves forward.

Spencer Prior’s North Shore Mariners are only one point off the Rams and two off the leaders, yet to taste defeat this season.

Sydney University vs Blacktown Spartans

At the Sydney University Football Ground, the Champions host the Blacktown Spartans.

Uni dropped points for the first time this season, something Heather Garriock would not be pleased with and will try to get her team back on track as soon as this weekend.

The Spartans have had a solid start to the 2016 campaign and a positive result here will throw the right in the mix for the Premiership.
