2016/17 Futsal Declaration of Leagues
The 2016/17 Futsal season will again see three tiers of Futsal Competitions.
The Football NSW Futsal Premier League, Futsal Premier League 2 and Futsal State League Competitions will all feature eight (8) Clubs playing in home and away matches during the 2016/17 Futsal season.
Each Club will field teams in nine age groups – 12 Boys, 13 Girls, 14 Boys, 15 Girls, 16 Boys, 17 Girls, Youth Men, Open Women, Open Men.
Football NSW Head of Competitions Troy McColl stated that the sport of Futsal is continually on the rise especially after the efforts of the Futsalroos qualifying for the Futsal World Cup in September as well as the positive start to the PUMA F-League.
“The game has gone from strength to strength and we at Football NSW have continuously worked at developing the sport and improving it across all levels.
“We would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the important role Futsal Clubs play in providing development opportunities for the State’s talented players and wish all Clubs the best of luck in planning towards the commencement of the 2016/17 Futsal season.”
