The abysmal weather caused disruption to the PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues 2 NSW this weekend with just one fixture escaping the conditions.

Northern Tigers were the lucky ones, claiming a win to steal a march on their non-playing rivals.

Even Valentine Park on Sunday couldn’t withstand the atrocious conditions.

Marconi will be the first team next in action when they take on Wollongong Wolves at home next Wednesday in a Waratah Cup playoff.

Northern Tigers v North Shore Mariners

The only fixture which saw kick off over the weekend was on Saturday night when Northern Tigers met North Shore Mariners with the Tigers taking the spoils by the narrowest of margins.

Both sides were understrength with Tigers missing the suspended Braden Cheng and Paul Davies while Chris Lindsay and Nicholas Chapman of North Shore were also absent for card offences.

A lone goal to Russell Farrell in the second half was enough for the home side to take the points, a win which lifts the reigning champions to fourth on the ladder.
