Mt Druitt Boys crowned Sydney West Schools Champions

Valentine Sports Park hosted the 2017 Sydney West Schools Sports Association Primary Boys Football Carnival on Monday as Mt Druitt, were crowned Champions with a hard-fought victory over Ridges.

It was a huge day of football fever at Football NSW headquarters as many as 11 teams featured from across Sydney, competed in multiple matches utilising both synthetic surfaces.

School teams from Ridges, Mt Druitt, Hawkesbury, Blacktown, Auburn, St Marys, Castle Hill, Penrith, Parramatta/Merrylands, Wentworthville/Seven Hills and the Blue Mountains were put in two groups where they played matches against each other as some fine football action were on show. 

As many as 150 promising young football stars enjoyed playing the world game in pristine conditions as 200 plus supporters enjoyed what was a successful day for all involved.

The action will continue to roll through as this Thursday 30th of March will see more football fever grace the ‘Home of Football’ as the venue plays host to the Sydney West Schools Sports Association for the Primary Girls Championships.
