Orange host ALDI MiniRoos Coaching Course

Football fever was alive and well in Orange over the recent weekend as the Orange District Football Association kicked off its 2017 season with the commencement of matches in conjunction with an ALDI MiniRoos Coaching Certificate Course. 

Over 50 enthusiastic and energetic coaches took part in what was a fantastic day for the sport out in regional NSW with the opportunity to further upskill and educate themselves with the grassroots football season taking shape.

Football NSW Regional Coach Development Manager Andrew Fearnley was delighted with the reception and uptake the course received on the day.

“Whilst it was a brisk Orange morning with an 8:30am kick off, the coaches who attended were all keen in learning, developing and more importantly looking towards contributing to the enjoyment for younger players with our wonderful sport.

“Best of luck to every coach that took part in the ALDI MiniRoos Coaching Certificate Course as I know that this will certainly benefit them for this season and beyond.

“The more coaches we have here in Orange, the better it will be for the sport as our kids will have the opportunity to further hone their skills via better drills and coaching techniques and methods.”
