Football NSW Communication Update

As you may be aware, the Telstra Parklea Exchange located at the entrance to Valentine Sports Park (VSP) suffered extensive damage which continues to impact internet and mobile and landline services in Parklea and Kellyville.

More information about this can be accessed here.

While our landline and internet services have been affected, we have implemented a number of procedures to enable us to continue to operate almost as normal.

We are working closely with Telstra to ensure services are fully restored as quickly as possible.

Communication with Football NSW

Staff members are contactable on their mobile phones and this is currently the best way to contact staff directly.

Unfortunately, we are currently unable to receive calls to our landline, however, we are working with Telstra to have all calls to reception (8814 4400) diverted to a mobile and calls will then be returned by the appropriate staff member.

We have implemented temporary measures to provide staff with access to the internet and email over the 4G network.

Access to VSP

The damage to the Exchange is significant and Telstra has advised that it will need to be rebuilt.  It is anticipated this will take a number of months.

In the meantime, Telstra is installing three “mobile exchanges on wheels” and these will sit in the carpark near the current Exchange.

Access to and parking at VSP will therefore be impacted and we ask all visitors to VSP to please enter the carpark carefully and to follow any directions.

Traffic control may be in place at various times to assist visitors using the venue.

We thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this unprecedented situation.
