NOVA Employment Football4all Gala Day this Sunday
The annual NOVA Employment Football4all Gala Day will be held this Sunday 25th June 2017 at Valentine Sports Park and it promises to be one of the most memorable yet.
Entering its ninth season, the 2017 NOVA Employment Football4all Gala Day, hosted each year by Football NSW, will see teams and players participate in this amazing initiative which the football governing body of NSW introduced in 2008.
This sensational Gala Day brings together and provides opportunity for people with a disability or special needs to compete and express their love for the world game in front of family and friends.
Admission into the event is FREE.
It will be a carnival-like atmosphere at Valentine Sports Park with a number of fun filled events scheduled on the day.
Off-field activations include jumping castles, face painters, Western Sydney Wanderers Activation, ALDI MiniRoos Shoot out and visits from local Police Youth Command and Fire Brigade.
A number of special guests will be present, including Kevin Connolly Member for Riverstone, Emma Husar member of Lindsay, Mayor of Blacktown Stephen Bali, Pararoos, Western Sydney Wanderers and Central Coast Mariners Players as well as Westfield Matildas star Kyah Simon.
PlayStation4 will also be assisting on the day, offering a special prize that will be raffled as part of its ongoing support of such an amazing event run by Football NSW.
The Gala Day is proudly supported by NOVA Employment, who has once again thrown its backing behind the annual Gala Day for the fifth successive year.
NOVA Employment CEO Martin Wren is eagerly anticipating yet another successful Football4all Gala Day, a unique inclusive event the company has been proud to be part of.
“It’s an exciting time for us as we enter our fifth year as sponsors of this exceptional event that regardless of their age, gender or disability, the lucky stars on display on the day are able to participate in a team sport.
“NOVA Employment is a NSW charity that aims to achieve the employment of people who have a disability in competitive employment in the general community at award wages and conditions.
“We are so proud to continue supporting the Football4All initiative with Football NSW and wish all the participants the best of luck.”
