Newly promoted NPL NSW Men’s club Marconi Stallions have announced Nahuel Arrarte as its new Technical Director

A former club captain who developed his trade at Marconi from the age of 8 until the age of 16 before moving on to NSWIS and playing overseas, this has been seen as an exciting coup for the club.

Having played five seasons in the NSL with Sydney United and Wollongong Wolves, he then spent time in Johor FA before returning to the NPL NSW Men’s competition winning championships with Bankstown City (under current coach Peter Tsekenis) and Marconi in 2012.

Currently, Arrarte holds an FFA/AFC A-License and looking to complete the Pro Diploma in the near future.

After finishing his playing career, Arrarte embarked on his coaching journey.

He spent 6 months with the Southern Districts Soccer FA assisting senior and SAP programs followed by the opportunity to lead the Wollongong Wolves out of relegation zone.

During the 2014 season, he lead the Wolves into the round of 32 in the Westfield FFA Cup following a0narrowing losing to the Central Coast Mariners as well as a semi-final berth of the Wara¬tah Cup.

Arrarte spent the last 4 years working at Westfields Sports High School and recently finished his second-year stint with Western Sydney Wanderers as the head coach of the grand final winning U18’s and assistant NYL Coach.

Recently, Arrarte was selected as one of the assistant coaches for the Westfield Matildas series vs Brazil.

The appointment of Nahuel Arrarte as technical director is a step in the right direction as he is a very highly regarded coach whose knowledge, passion and understanding of the game, compiled through his experience will see our club move forward in the right direction.
