Dubbo Sportsworld recently played host to a Multi-Sports Disability Gala Day as over 80 participants took part in what was a fantastic day of football.
Students from schools in Dubbo as well as outlying centres such as Tottenham, Gilgandra and Moonduran took part in the major event in sports with Football at the forefront.
Football NSW Regional Coach and Development Manager Andrew Fearnley was delighted with how the day unfolded and praised the efforts of the students that challenged themselves with the various skills and drills that were put together.
“It was a great day which enabled all students to enjoy being able to participate in fun football activities as well as pick up a few skills along the way.
“It was pleasing to see the joy across all the students who participated today and it was clear that they were enjoying being involved in our great game.”
