2018 Girls Conference League
Football NSW is excited to launch the 2018 Girls Conference League with eight clubs ready for take-off.
During 2017, Football NSW conducted the 2018 Women’s Football Review to make recommendations to the Football NSW Board in consideration of women’s and girl’s competition structures.
One of the review outcomes endorsed by the Football NSW Board was the development of a Girls Conference League Competition format to under pin the National Premier Leagues Women’s and National Premier League 2 Women’s Competitions for Associations and Clubs.
The Associations/Clubs for the 2018 season are as follows:
- Camden Tigers FC
- Parramatta FC
- Football South Coast
- Rockdale City FC
- Mt Druitt Town Rangers FC
- Blacktown City FC
- Pagewood Botany FC
- Dunbar Rovers FC
Age Eligiblity Grades for 2018 will be U14, U15 and U17 Girls Birthdate to qualify for the age grades will be:
- U14 – born on or after 1 January 2004
- U15 – born on or after 1 January 2003
- U17 – born on or after 1 January 2001
The requirement for U14, U15 and U17 players is that they shall turn age specified for the Competition, 1st January to the 31st December the current year.
As long as they are age eligible, players are permitted to play in any of the U14, U15, U17 age grades during the Premiership season.
