Nepean FA and Heartbeat of Football to host Pre-season tournament
Nepean Football Association in conjunction with the Heartbeat of Football have confirmed that they will be hosting an exciting over 35 Men and Senior Women Pre-season 6-a-side tournament to be held at Cook Park, St Marys on Saturday February 17th.
The invitation is open to any Football NSW affiliated clubs wanting to participate in this great initiative with proceeds from the day going towards supporting Heartbeat of Football and heart health awareness.
Entry fee for the tournament will be $250 per team which includes referees fees for the day with each participating teams guaranteed 3 games minimum during the course of the day.
Nepean Football Association General Manager Linda Cerone was excited with the prospect of hosting such an amazing event with proceeds going to a fantastic cause and charity.
“Nepean FA are excited to be able to offer this Pre-season experience and in doing so supporting the great work being done by Heartbeat of Football in educating players and clubs about being heart safe.
“We really hope that other Associations as well as our own clubs get behind this great opportunity.”
Composite teams from multiple clubs are permitted, provided all participants are registered in MyFootballClub at the time of entry submission however one club must take responsibility for the overall entry.
Male players must have attained the age of 35 by the 1st of January 2018 while Female players must have attained the age of 18.
