#FemaleFootballWeek at North West Sydney Women’s Football Association
Female Football Week is a nationwide initiative to celebrate the immense growth of women’s football at all levels of the game and acknowledge and promote the important role women play in developing football. In 2018 Female Football Week is from March 2nd – 10th coinciding with the launch of the new NPL and WNPL seasons.
Over the weekend the North West Sydney Women’s Football Association held an open invitation Come Try Football day on the 4th of March, to kick off the week long festivities. The initiative by the association proved to be a fun filled day, so much so the boys were wanting to join in!
The participants also got to enjoy some the vibrant Female Football Week merchandise, which proved to be quite a hit
