#FemaleFootballWeek at Southern Districts SFA
Over the opening weekend of the annual Female Football Week, the Southern Districts Soccer Football Association held a Multicultural Miniroos Kick-Off Program with our new Game Development Office at Football New South Wales Kevin Amaya.
Kevin was invited to be a part of the program, which was in it’s fourth week of activation and themed in relation to the FFA’s Female Football Week. With a total of approximately 60 participants present at the weekend’s festivities, ranging from 4-11 years old the day catered to a vast audience. Kevin was able to run an interactive session with the association, where the parents were able to participate in learning some introductory skills for their children as well as coaching tips for the upcoming season.
The Southern Districts Association have done a wonderful job in executing the program, with a number of participants transitioning to a Football NSW club within the surrounding region.
