It has been a whirlwind of fun and games for the Southern Districts Soccer Football Association, with their ALDI Miniroos Kick-Off Program drawing to a close on Friday the 16th of March after reaching the six week mark. The sessions which have been held at Knight Park in Yennora and Stanwell Oval in Ashcroft all came together last Friday, in celebration of the new skills the participants had learnt and therefore gained during the duration of the program.

Over the six weeks the participants and parents were able to experience

  • Parent engagement and coaching education
  • Female Football Week
  • WSW and FNSW activations
  • Transition into registering with local clubs

The festivities on Friday saw over 80 participants from both location come together, participating in abundance of activities, skills, drills and more importantly showcasing the new skills they had gained over the past 6 weeks.

All the children on the day received their ALDI MiniRoos participation packs which included a pair of shin pads, a ball, a bag and A-League stickers.

Along with everything else happening on the afternoon, there was also plenty of representatives from Football Federation Australia, Football NSW, Western Sydney Wanderers, Liverpool Rangers, Fairfield Hotspurs as well as local clubs from the  Southern Districts Soccer Football Association helping out on the day. The Football NSW Miniroos inflatable shooting target also made a appearance on the day, as well as Football NSW and Western Sydney Wanderers Marquees with plenty of giveaways on hand for the day.
