Former NSL, Hyundai A-League and NPL NSW manager Branko Culina has been appointed the new head coach for National Premier Leagues 2 NSW Men’s outfit Canterbury Bankstown FC for the remainder of the 2018 season.

Culina’s vast coaching experience will be needed as he hopes to pick up the club’s current poor form of three losses from its opening three matches which sees them grounded at the bottom of the NPL 2 NSW Men’s ladder.

His last coaching role was with current NPL 3 NSW Men’s outfit Fraser Park where he worked alongside his sons Jason and Dean.

Branko replaces Perry Moustakas who has since moved on from the club as he looks towards completing his UEFA ‘A’ Coaching Licence.

This means that there will be two Culina’s coaching in the NPL in the 2018 season as his youngest son Jason, is the head coach at NPL NSW top tier side Sydney United 58 FC.

Branko and co’s first test will be this Saturday when his side take on Hills United at Valentine Sports Park with kick off set for 7pm.
