Bossley Park High School’s Talented Football Program is not just about producing high quality footballers, it is also is producing the referees of the future.

The referee’s program has only been operating for four years but already has paid dividends as many of our students officiate on weekends (pocket money is a certain motivator), some have reached the level of the Referee Development Program (RDP) and graduates hold current positions in the elite Football NSW Referees Academy: a FFA National Pathway.

Football NSW has played an important part in providing professional guidance to the program at Bossley Park.

Rob Nieuwenhuis, Kris Griffith-Jones and Kearney Robinson have all provided major input to the program which is coordinated at the school by Geoff Stanmore, Program Director of the Talented Football Program.

The Bossley Park program has provided referees for a number of years at State Football Championships for the Primary Schools Sports Association, and the students will be attending more of these titles in the coming months.
