The Football NSW Girls Skill Acquisition Program (SAP) provides young female players looking to improve their individual football skills, an opportunity to train and play in best practice environments.

Girls SAP programs are operated by licenced Women’s National Premier League Clubs across NSW and are available in U10, U11, U12 and U13 age groups.

There are two program formats: one is a full-time program where training is three times a week and matches are weekly with the Girls SAP team; the other is a part-time program where there is a Girls SAP game every fortnight and one local Club match per week during the game phase.

Coaches are required to hold a C-Licence (Youth) qualification to coach Girls SAP.

For keen players wanting to improve their football and train more often, Girls SAP is a fun and challenging environment. It is designed to prepare players for the technical and tactical challenges that lie ahead, if they are also considering entering talented player pathway competitions.
