Nepean Football Association side Cranebrook United had a case of football fever over the weekend as Football NSW Development Officers ventured off to their spiritual home ground, Andromeda Oval, where the club took part in the ‘SHOOSH’ for Kids campaign as well as the ALDI MiniRoos Kick-Off Program.

Over 30 participants across 3 ALDI MiniRoos Kick-Off Programs were on display on Saturday with each player receiving their participant pack which included a boot-bag, shin pads, bottle, ball and stickers.

The club itself received a delivery pack of their own which consisted of a pair of goals, cones, bibs, balls, ball-bag, game leader vest and a pop-up banner.

While finally, the club also engaged in the annual NSW wide ‘SHOOSH’ for Kids campaign.

Cranebrook United were actively promoting the campaign with various flyers and posters displayed around the club reminding parents about the Do’s and Don’ts when watching their kids play.

Football NSW Development Officer/MiniRoos Kevin Amaya was delighted with how Cranebrook United performed on the day across both activations.

“It was a really successful day across both fronts and it was pleasing to have seen participants, parents, referees, managers, volunteers as well as club personnel involve themselves in what was a fantastic day for the club.

“Overall, everyone enjoyed the activations that were put on display as we also setup an ALDI MiniRoos Shooting Target that was well received while our Development Officers Krysta and Cam also gave away Football NSW water bottles along with assisting on the day.”
