Former Socceroo Ante Juric will say goodbye to Football NSW after two years in the Football NSW Technical Department as the Women’s Advanced Coach Education Manager, accepting a role as Sydney Olympic’s new General Manager

Ante played a very important role in the development and support of girls’ and women’s football and brought across a wealth of experience to what was a newly created position, having previously been the FFA Assistant National Technical Director, Assistant Coach to the Westfields Matildas, Head Coach of the Young and Junior Matildas as well as the W-League coach for Sydney FC.

“Whilst we are sorry to see Ante go, we are pleased that he will not be lost to Football in NSW,” Football NSW CEO Stuart Hodge stated.

“He will continue to be with us until the end of the Girls National Youth Championships before moving to his new role at Sydney Olympic.

“We would like to wish Ante all the best with his future endeavours and thank him for his services to the game in NSW.”

Juric, a former Sydney Olympic captain during his playing days in the old National Soccer League, will continue to perform his role as the head coach of Sydney FC’s W-League side whilst employed at the Blues.

Juric will focus for the remainder of the season on actively coaching both the Under 18 and 20 Sydney Olympic squads, as well as supporting the Youth, Women’s and SAP programs.

He will also focus on the Club’s planning of its football programs, coach appointments, player advancement, recruitment and retention for next season.
