Westfield National Youth Championships Day Four Results
Day Four of the Westfield National Youth Championships for Girls saw the 14 Years Championship decided with Newcastle Jets Academy taking out the Group A top spot.
The clear winner won all three games leading up to the decider today when they drew one-all with NSW Metro Blue. Young Jet, Milan Hammond equalised the game in the 52nd minute.
Group B 14 Years was taken out by NSW Metro White, seeing them face-off with Group A winners Newcastle Jets Academy at 2.20pm.
While the 14 Years play cross-over matches tomorrow, they’ll be joined by the local composite North Coast Select team who will have their chance to play Northern Territory at 9.00am.
The 15 Years Tournament has also been decided on the fourth day, with both Newcastle Jets Academy and NSW Metro Blue at the top of the ladder on 9 points, with Newcastle Jets Academy left with one more game to play against Queensland at 10.20am, and having already defeated NSW Metro Blue.
Group B NSW Metro White have taken out their group having defeated Tasmania in today’s game 10-0.
