National Premier Leagues 2 NSW Men’s outfit Bonnyrigg White Eagles were flooded with assistance from volunteers and fans as well as senior players who came to their spiritual home ground to assist with the new irrigation system being placed at the main pitch.

In a show of strength and solidarity, the club was overwhelmed with the response they received in getting this special project off the ground in lending a hand to ensure that Bonnyrigg Sports Ground is ready to go for the 2019 football season.

Senior players such as skipper Ray Miller as well as long serving White Eagles player and junior David Vrankovic were two familiar figures who put in some hard yakka in ensuring their beloved club was up to scratch with their pitch.

The new irrigation/sprinkler system will allow all their teams to play on the best possible playing surface as the club continues to grow and improve its facility.

A Go Fund Me page has been set up by the club to assist with the upgrades and can be found by clicking here.
