TAFE NSW Roadshow hits the West

TAFE-at-NFA

TAFE NSW Summer Football Activations headed west this week for the Nepean Football Association Summer Football finals.

Jamison Park was jam packed with hundreds of players as the Nepean Football Association once again broke participation records exceeding 1,700 registered players for the Summer format.

Football NSW Development Officer, Clubs & Participation, Michali Aizen was impressed with Nepean’s passion for Summer Football.

“Its great to see the colour and atmosphere the activations have provided.

“The kids are loving the fun, social and positive environment.

“This is one of many engagement activities undertaken by TAFE NSW who have also activated at Manly, Kellyville and Moss Vale.”

Football NSW’s Member Services Manager Matt Rippon was appreciative of TAFE NSW’s involvement with the Summer Football concept.

“All summer football centres have been extremely grateful for the additional support TAFE NSW has provided.

“The balls, bibs and teardrop banners give each of our affiliated venues an extremely appealing and professional look.

“We have already surpassed last year’s participation numbers for Summer Football, this with some programs still to get underway until the new year.”

Western Sydney has once again benefited with the ‘football all year round’ concept with Nepean, Hills, Kellyville and Blacktown all surpassing participation records this season.

There also seems to be no let up as many Football NSW Summer Football centres will continue over the new year with some commencing in mid-January.
