Football represented at 2019 NSW Community Sports Awards

Chloe Grey and Helen Armson have both been nominated in two respective categories at this year’s 2019 NSW Community Sports Awards held by Sport NSW celebrating National Volunteer week.

Promising young female referee Chloe Grey, hailing from the Macarthur District Football Referees Association, is up for the ‘Young Official Award’ while well respected Gladesville Hornsby Football Chairman Helen Armson has been put forward for the ‘Volunteer Director’ award.

Northern NSW’s Doreen Dickinson, hailing from football as well, has been recognised in the category for ‘Community Sport Administrator’.

The winners of the awards will be revealed at a special ceremony in the Strangers’ Room of NSW Parliament House, at 6.00pm on Thursday 20 June 2019.

The presentation ceremony will be hosted by the Hon. John Sidoti MP, Minister for Sport, and the Minister will also present the recipients of the Sport NSW Distinguished Long Service Award with special recognition for their exceptional service to sport.
