Football NSW host successful ‘B’ and ‘C’ Coaching Courses
Coach Development was the theme for the month of May at Valentine Sports Park with Football NSW hosting the final part 2 of the first FFA/AFC ‘B’ Licence coaching course alongside an FFA/AFC C Licence Youth Course and an FFA/AFC C Licence Senior Course.
Twenty-four coaches including Westfield Matildas star Lisa De Vanna completed their ‘B’ Licence under the watchful eye of ex-Socceroo Robbie Hooker, Alex Epakis and Football NSW’s Advanced Coach Development Manager Chris Adams.
The ‘C’ Licence Course held at Valentine Sports Park was also a valuable opportunity for Football NSW to provide support for Member Association qualified active ‘C’ licence instructors with Jon Long from Sutherland Shire FA, Jason Eager from Northern Suburbs FA and Eugene Lawrenz from Manly Warringah FA, who all joined the course for professional development.
This was a valuable development opportunity for all three coach developers for when they deliver their association based ‘C’ Licence courses for the remainder of the 2019 season.
Football NSW would like to thank Westfield Sports High School for providing access to their students as players for the ‘B’ Licence course as well as the Bonnyrigg White Eagles for providing their players for the ‘C’ Licence senior course.
