Northern Tigers celebrate Female Football Week

Northern Suburbs Football Association and Northern Tigers hosted a successful Female Football Week day on Sunday 26th of May at North Turramurra Recreation Centre.
The day saw a round 12 National Premier Leagues NSW Women’s clash that saw Northern Tigers tackle the FNSW Institute which was the marquee game in initiating the beginning of Female Football Week.
Football NSW also attended and provided the day with an ALDI MiniRoos shooting target, free female football week giveaways and posters of the Northern Tigers Women’s NPL first grade squad.
Junior girls from a variety of NSFA clubs joined their favourite player as they took to the field as player mascots.
Half-time arrived, and the junior girls once again captured the crowd in an entertaining match.
NSFA kicked off their female football week festivities successfully, next on the agenda includes the Female ParraRoos Development Centre and Female Coaching Workshop.
