Football United’s ‘Football in the Park’ program at Ultimate Soccer in Fairfield celebrated Female Football Week by inviting Football NSW to be a part of the day and make use of the ALDI MiniRoos Shooting Target.

Football United’s ‘Football In the Park’ program provides a safe place to play for male and female youth from multicultural and recently arrived backgrounds to play football in a safe place with youth from a similar background.

Many girls in the program are from a Middle Eastern background and dream of playing for the Westfield Matildas in the future.

Football NSW provided Female Football Week giveaways and the inflatable shooting target while Football United facilitated various other football activities and small sided games on the artificial pitches.

Football NSW would like to congratulate Natasha Hill for continuing to support multicultural communities and provide safe places to play for youth with dreams of becoming professional footballers in the future.
