Regional Development Manager Andrew Fearnley was delighted with how the weekend unfolded.

“It was a great opportunity for players to represent their Association against Associations from outside their Branch, and the quality of play across all the age groups was further indication of the development of players in regional football.

“There was some very good completion with age groups going to the final games, and a good display of football over the various venues.”

Football NSW would like to thank the Associations who hosted the venues, and also praise the vast number of players, coaches, officials and parents in attendance over the long weekend involved in the Country Cup for a strong showing of football and sportsmanship.

Football NSW would also like to acknowledge major sponsor TAFE NSW and NIKE, the official ball sponsor of the Country Cup.
