Gladesville Ryde Magic snap up Greek star
Ambitious National Premier Leagues 3 NSW Men’s outfit Gladesville Ryde Magic have added former AEK Athens striker Dimitrios Sialmas to its player roster for the remainder of the season, further strengthening the club’s plans to win some much needed silverware in 2019.
The 32-year-old attacker, born in Athens, Greece has played for a number of clubs in his native country, most notably AEK Athens as well as Panionios, Platanias, Panachaiki and Trikala, has linked up with close friends and now teammates Christos Tomaras as well as former Olympiakos and PAOK legend Kyriakos Tohouroglou.
Christie Park will be abuzz this Sunday as Sialmas makes his much anticipated debut when the Magic entertain bottom placed Western NSW Mariners with kick off set for 3pm.
Gladesville Ryde Magic are currently two points adrift of first placed Bankstown City Lions as they hope to close the gap this Sunday against the Mariners.
